About

The planning model matters. The person accountable for it matters more.

We kept seeing the same gap: teams had reports, alerts, and smart people, but the order-by decision still had no steady owner. Volumetris was built around that missing responsibility.

01 · Where it comes from

Good data was not enough.

The method comes from inventory work that began in February 2021. Across those engagements the same pattern kept appearing: inventory data lived in several places, lead times changed in conversation, and alerts appeared without a decision path. The useful intervention was never another report. It was a maintained model and a weekly owner. Volumetris is the company that turned that pattern into a defined service, and the record of that work is public on the Record page.

02 · Who runs the work

Named people, defined responsibilities.

FounderWhat they own
Hamza

The senior lead responsible for the planning review and the client decision cadence. He turns the model’s outputs into a clear recommendation, challenges the assumptions behind them, and keeps ownership visible. He runs the call, asks the uncomfortable question about the date, and makes sure a recommendation leaves with an owner.

Shaheer

Works across the operating system, the client experience, and the structures that make the service repeatable without making it generic. He turns the work around the plan into a system that clients and the Volumetris team can use week after week.

Specialists and analysts support the work according to the engagement. The senior lead remains accountable for the client’s weekly planning decision, so you never have to wonder who owns the recommendation.

03 · Operating principles

Four rules the work is held to.

PrincipleWhat it means in practice
01

Name the owner

A recommendation without responsibility is unfinished. Every line in the weekly plan carries who moves it next.

02

Show the reasoning

Quantities and dates stay traceable to their inputs. You should be able to ask why and get more than “the system says so.”

03

Leave the system with the client

The workbook and the 10 SOPs are client-owned. The useful parts do not disappear if the engagement ends.

04

Escalate uncertainty

A changing assumption should be visible before it becomes urgency. A quiet unknown is more dangerous than an honest question.
